Install Flash again & again & again... dgellman

flash (macromedia):
I am a long-time user of Adobe Flash, Reader, etc., but for the last several
months, every time I've gone to a web site that uses Flash, I am instructed to
"Download Flash"; I do so, I view the Flash item and then the next web site
that needs Flash tells me that I need to install it again!! This has happened
MANY, MANY times!
Why is Flash not "staying" on my computer?
BTW, also, when I look at some Adobe docs (e.g., eMail attachments), it
doesn't "find" Reader, and I have to open Reader, then find the attachment.

I like Adobe, why doesn't my computer like it?! :wink; [I am running WinXP,
SP2]

John,

...Internet Options ..Programs ...manage add on's & enable Active X for those
api's ....
I tried that, but the api's are not on the list, and tried AGAIN to install
Flash and it still doesn' work!?!

Thanks for your suggestion...Any other ideas?
