flash (macromedia): When you draw a box in flash 8 you have the border size and colour option.

Can you use this function to wrap a border size and colour around text?

If so I would like to know how.

Any answers would be helpful.

I just using stacic text and I want to put a border around the text font,each letter.

What I have been doing is using firework and importing the text, but I cant
get the sharpness or clarity when publishing.

I know how to use the filters in flash on the text tools but again they blur.

okay I have one letter (A)example as static text in a single frame in a layer
..

Unless I come out of that layer I can not add the ink bottle tool properties
to that layer.

I have tried convert thr (A) to a symbol but still cant get the ink tool
properties to open to add a border to the text.

Whats am I doing wrong.

select the text & right click ...."break apart" ....the text 2 times ...then it
is pure vector ....now you can select the ink bottle tool & click on each
letter to add the stroke

zoon in 200% ...because you will need to add it also on the inside of letters

then if you want to add gradients to your strokes ....select "modify" ,
"shape" convert Lines to fills & now you can add a gradient ....select convert
to symbol & your done ;o)
