You can also just double-click a stroke edge and it will select the entire
stroke.

Hi, I'm fairly new to Flash, and I'm trying to create a preloader. I drew a
simple rectangle with a stroke and a fill. However, when I select the border
of the rectangle only one side is selected. What do I need to do to select the
entire rectangle stroke border and not just one side?

don't single click - double click - if all lines are connected or intersected, they will all be
selected on double click.
