flash (macromedia):
Have you checked the video card drivers? In previous versions of Windoze an old driver would cause the setup window to freeze or flash briefly. Do you get any error messages? if so, post them please.
Hi All, Has anyone else got the same problem as myself; upgraded to Flash cs3 pro only to find out that it do not install properly on my Vista Home Premium machine; damn annoying and completely wasting my time on line and phone. Tech support is just a complete joke. I have tried soft boot, desktop folder, and even today downloaded the trial version and this will not install either. Can anyone out there help me out here, I am now getting to the point of thinking about purchasing alternative branded software; but what can replace FLASH? Email me on it_trainer1@btinternet.com. Kind Regards, Boxing Boom
Hi, Was it an upgrade on yours (just Flash cs2 pro)? I have tried Run as admin, no joy. Something on my machine is causing the setup program to quit, it shows very briefly and then vanishes. But, thanks for your reply. Its the hook for me! Ha, Ha ;) Kind Regards, Boxing Boom
Hi, Yes, I am the Administrator. Kind Regards, Boxing Boom
Hi, Sorted, I had to create a new administrators account and it now loads without any errors etc... I am a very happy person ;) Flash cs3 is worth every penny, I am amazed with the new capabilities. Thanks ADOBE! WOW! WOW! WOW! Kind Regards, Boxing Boom
He couldn't have created another admin account without being an admin. It's possible that something was corrupted with his original admin account.
