First - read this:
http://www.adobe.com/devnet/flash/articles/design_character.html

But to be more precise - select an instance and select the Free Transform tool - now move the little
white dot on the symbol instance to where you want the symbol to "hinge".

Hello,
Im new and ive been getting better at flash animations but the main thing that
bothers me is i see all flash animations with really goon movement in arms and
legs and walking im wondering how the make it pivot where you need it to and
how to get them to walk so smoothly, basicly can anyone help me out or at least
give me a link for a place or website that can.
Thanks a lot:
