You see how you change sections (bio,news,aduio/video)on that site? I
would like to do the same thing except instead of chnaging sections
left to right or right to left, I would like to change top to bottom &
bottom to top. Hope that makes sense. I'd like the same effect except
with the animation vertically instead of horizontally.

Does any know how I can do this or can point me to sample code in
flash?

I have code that will do what you want. Just send forward your e-mail to me
