Hi, I've tried without a decent resutl to make a magazine page ffect like the
one in http:// www.spheremag.com/cover.php.
I supose that animation is made within a movie clip, but I cannot create the
same page effect, when I try it looks very bad.
Could somebody helpme please?

Very simple: the white rectangle is just that, a tweened rectangle that
grows from the left, probably with an alpha tween as well. The drop shadow
underneath is a bitmap, most likely produced in Photoshop with the generic
drop shadow layer effect applied to a plain shape. You can see how the white
square comes in first, then the shadow fades in. They could just have
imported the white square with the shadow in a single file but my guess is
this would increase the file size needlessly since the area is just meant to
be plain white.

not a terribly good page turning effect really

no shading to give any depth to the pages as they turn, and turning pages do
not properly follow the mouse.
