flash actionscript:
Is there anyway to implement load progression feedback while loading external
swf files into a Flash Projector?

Also, I've been attempting to test the MovieClipLoader onLoadProgress event
via the Flash Download Simulator with out success. Why is this?

Thanks,

Loading External SWFs from the web or from a local hard drive?

If they are local, there should be no load time. Otherwise if you are doing
it over the internet use the ProgessBar component that came with flash.

Or maybe see this discussion:

Local hard drive and possibly CD-ROM.

Most of the external SWF files do load instantly but some are extremely large
and do take a while to load. I have tried every method but have been
unsuccessful with getting onLoadProgress or getProgress to work even when using
the download simulator. This is puzzling because the onLoadStart and
onLoadComplete events always work.

VisionaryStudios: No FLV's in this one.

Rothrock: Thanks
