I see lots of people are having this same problem and some people are answering
them, but I cant seem to make any of them work in MX 2004 pro. I want to be
able to customize the scrollpane, specifically the border, scroll track and
roll over color on the buttons. do any of you have any suggestions for me?
Please help! Thanks, ron

You can create movieclips that represent the arrow buttons and the thumb and
track, and give them a linkage identifier as the following:
ScrollUpArrowUp, ScrollUpArrowOver and ScrollUpArrowDown will change the Up,
Over and Down states for the up arrow button; ScrollDownArrowUp,
ScrollDownArrowOver and ScrollDownArrowDown will change the Up, Over and Down
states for the down arrow, ScrollTrack will change the bar and ScrollThumbTopUp
ScrollThumbMiddleUp ScrollThumbBottomUp will change the scroller thumb.
Remember to have you registration point for all this symbols placed at the
upper left corner of the shape.

To add a linkage identifier right click the movieclip and select linkage....
Then in the dialog select Export for Action Script and then in the linkage
identifier text box type, for the example, ScrollUpArrowDown or any of the
names I said on the first paragraph. Do the same thing for all the other button
states and for the thumb and track.
