I am creating a new game, in which you are a houseowner killing flies. The game must do the following, but I don;t know how to do them:

1. Have a time limit (1min30sec). Once this time is up, you should be taken to a frame with score and kills on it.
2. Kill counter.
3. Score keeper.
4. I want to have 5 files on screen at once, appearing on random locations.
5. Should the actual game be one frame or mulitiple frames?

Anyone who can help me will get accredited for their help.

1) at the beginning of your movie use:
stoptime=getTimer()+90000;
1a), 2), 3), 4) start a loop that will check and track the time, the number of kills (use hitTest) and score (determined by hits vs misses?). when a hit is made do you want another fly to immediately appear on-stage (at a random location)?
5) one frame is plenty to generate your flies and do all the above. if you want a separate end-game frame that would make for 2 frames on the _root timeline.
p.s. what makes your flies fly? ie, are you going to use actionscript to move them?

I'm a newbie, so i don't know what you are on about. Sorry!
