Now Ive tried the whole tutorials thing...... And none of them are... good. They just say, Once u've selected the item to be Alpha'ed.... Move the Slider bar to choose its transparency........ But there is no slider thing.......................................... If u peoples could pleez tell me how to do this.

on a component "properties" window, you have a button "effect". Chose
"alpha". Then when you mouse point the value, you have the slider bar, or
you can enter the value you want, from 0 to 100.
