flash actionscript:
Hello-

I'd be really appreciative if someone good look at my actionscripting and tell me why it works OK in version 6 of FLASH PLAYER, but not version 7.

Here is the FLA:
http://www.cubit.net/warformars/test2.fla

You can test the SWF here:
http://www.cubit.net/warformars/test2.swf

What is supposed to happen:
Log in by entering a number between 1 and 15

This sets up which player you control. Your player will be the yellow flashing dot on the map.

Use the arrow keys to move your player. The center button on the compass refreshes your map without moving. Otherwise, your map refreshes every time you move.

Everything works fine in v6 or 7 with just one player.

But, open a second window and try moving a second player around. You should be able to see the second player move on the player 1 screen (all data is stored in a mysql database and pulled out each time). You'll only see them move when you refresh your own map by moving, or by clicking the center circle button on the directional compass.

Everything works fine in Flash Player 6. You can open two windows and make one dot chase the other. BUT, in Flash Player 6, weird stuff starts to happen. At first it might seem OK, but one screen will not update the player positions. Even though it complete REMOVES the objects and hits the database to get their positions and redraw them. Somehow, in Flash Player 7, the loadVars object isn't being reset and refreshed with new data.

Any help?!?!?
