flash actionscript : Email in 2004?

I am distributing in projector and will not have the ability to use server side
processing. I need to open a pre-address email window using a defined email
address.

In mx
getURL("mailto:anyname@anyAddress.com")
worked

In 2004
getURL("mailto:anyname@anyAddress.com")
has no effect. Is there a bug

Try it trough a web browser.
