Hi,
I have been using Flash for ages but had to give it up last year sometime when
my computer couldn't handle the amount of data I was storing and decided to die
on me.
Anyway, to the point, how would one save data entered into a field in flash to
a text document situated in the same file of the .swf?
Thanks for your help, I haven't been using Flash for a while and am a little
bit rusty on my knowledge.
I will be using Flash MX.

If you don't need any server side interaction with the data, you can use local
shared objects.

See this techNote:

Hope that helps,
