Wrong forum. That's what the site design forum is for. Honestly, the clue is
in the title. And since you ask I think it's pretty ugy, and looks about 5
years old.

people like yourself !

It does indeed work wonders. But then I spend half an hour reading these
forums and there are so many cross posts, posts in the wrong forums, posts
with questions that have been answered a hundred times over et~cetera.,
that my disposition towards *some* posters quickly returns to grumpy,
twisted and old.

Same goes for me ;-) But in the meantime I have learned to:

simply ignore those with stuck capslock keys
crossposters (if I notice in time; this one slipped through ;-)
people who seem to not be able to even find the manual, let alone read it
unclear questions, which lead to the infinite search for the needle in the
wellknown haystack
too general questions, which would require writing a book
irrelevant subject lines
etc.

Doesn't work all the time (some really cross my final frontier), but
generally has made life on these forums quite a bit happier ;-)

And there's no training for this; my guess it it has to do with just that:
AGE. Thumbs up Peter ;-)

John,

I just went to your website on your sig line out of curiosity. I have 20-15
vision but I had a lot of trouble seeing your site. I had to drop the screen
resolution way down (1024 x 768) to be able to read it comfortably. My
resolution is 1600 x 1200 and I am using a 21" monitor. Just an FYI.

Thanks for the info; I am aware of the issue, and as a matter of fact I do
want a completely new design. This one was setup in a rather quick and dirty
way (no excuse by the way), and some of the functionality in terms of
usability is not good. You hit it right on the spot.

I'll put on my calendar. Thanks for kicking me ;-)

higienic?

hygiene: NOUN: 1. The science that deals with the promotion and preservation
of health. Also called hygienics.
2. Conditions and practices that serve to promote or preserve health

Is there a design-based connotation that I'm not aware of?

not bad, u seem to have the power to create a sweet design but u need summore inspiration...
the site is too boring.

Needs better masking, and a few arbitrary graphics, but other than that, it's a content site done in flash... nuff said.

Your design is fine, its just not centered on the page.
