Alright... I would love it if someone could explain, in detail, a professional
preloader (productions comapanies like: 2advanced, widegroup, and flashlevel)
with a smooth transition animation. If you would like an example of the
type of "professional preload" that I'm talking about, please take a look at
[L=wa007]http://www.wa007.com/[/L] and check out the circle preloader that
loads in incomming .swf (or, main page once you're inside). I would love to be
able to use this preloader over and over (smart clip) and have it compatible
with Flash MX+. I'm currently using MX 2004, but we somtimes publish in MX. If
someone could enlighten me, this would make my year.

Thank you in advance,

Devin

Try one of these two tuts: [L=Preloader with
percentage]http://www.kirupa.com/developer/mx/percentage_loader.htm[/L],
[L=Preloader]http://www.kirupa.com/developer/mx/preloader.htm[/L].

Remember that a lot of a professionally designed preloader is the experience
with preloaders. Trying different looks or animations is key.

Hey EgyptianBrain... that's a little closer to what im talking about... only,
wa007 and 2advanced all have little intro animaitons and outro animations for
their preloaders... so the preloader doesnt just appear and then dissappear...
there a nice transition. I just want to know how that's all set up... and also
to have the preloader load smoothly... no jerking. Any ideas?

[Q]Try one of these two tuts: Preloader with percentage, Preloader.[/Q]

I tried those, and they didn't seem to be right for what I needed. It would be
nice to have an example .FLA like 2Advanced... just to see how they lay it all
out.

Take a look at this fla. [L=Designer
PreLoader]http://thinlime.com/misc/designerPreLoader.fla[/L] As far as smooth
transitions, its easy. Simply add the last part of the preloader to the
beginning of the movie its loading. Almost like a screen shot.

Feel free to pick apart the fla and use it's code.
