flash actionscript: i thought i posted this but now i can't find it so i am posting again. i am
trying to figure out why my buttons are not working as buttons. i have used
text, made them into button symbols, tried instance names, even tried using
graphics of that text. it still does not work as a button (even the graphics
you can copy as text!!). an someone please tell me what i am doing wrong?

they don't work because you have made the text dynamic and it is selectable and
it is taking precedence over the button. Make the text unselectable and it will
work but poorly.

Edit the text buttons and make a solid rectangle in the 4th frame (hit area).
Text all by itself is too hard to hit.
