How do I get components to show above a movieclip?

Looking into the DepthManager documentation:

movieClipInstance.setDepthTo(depth)

just doesn't seem to work.

Is there anyway to render components over other movieclips ?

Any help appreciated.

This fla will maybe demonstrate the point a little better.

There is a button on the stage, but it is just an outline when the movie is tested.

Any ideas?

Try not to kick yourself too hard for this one. Your code's fine. Go to your
publish settings, flash, and change Flash Player 6 to Flash Player 7 and Action
Script version to AS 2.0. That should do the trick :)
