add a movie clip from the library to the stage?
add a script to a movie clip that is on the stage?
swap a movie clip or a graphic in a movie clip with something in the library
without changing the script?

and where should the script/s that do these things go or be atached to or
whatever?

I know lingo script and all of this is easy as pie in director, but flash is
just weird.

Also how do I find out what Instance Name a movie clip has from a script
attached to the movie clip.
