I have a movie instance that I would like to attach to another movie instance.

Is something like
my_mc.<new name>= eval(<old movie clip path>)
supposed to work? Because it doesn't seem to be working in my case.

Are there any other approaches that I'm missing? Making a new instance using
my_mc.attachMovie or my_mc.loadMovie would be inefficient (the movie contains
resources that have been pre-downloaded).
