flash actionscript: Hi

I've downloaded a flash website and can't work out how to link one part to
another..i've tried the action script in the frame by saying just go an stop
at frame ???? but noting happens? How do i define the correct path of the frame
i want to link to ?? sorry for being stupid

I've a flash website but there are like hundreds of layers..there seems to be
a maintimeline. But there is a graphic which contains lots of small thumbnail
images..i want to be able to link this small thumnail to a larger image but i'm
unsure where to put the large imamge and how to link the small thumbnail to the
image..can i send you the file it might help..cheers for your help
