flash actionscript:
This might sound like the standard image question for Flash, but I still can't
seem to solve it. I have a very small .gif file (only 2x4 pixels) which is a
simple pair of vertical black and yellow strips. I have made sure the image
properties has smoothing DISABLED and the format is set to "PNG/GIF lossless."
I then stack several of these images next to each other (using the exact X, Y
coordinates) to create a long line of black and yellow strips, a sort of
caution tape design for my movieclip. When I am creating the mc in Flash it
looks perfect and I can recognize each line individually. However, when I run
my Flash file the lines become muddy and blurred together. It looks fine if I
zoom in to 200%, but I certainly don't want to have to do that everytime I run
my file. Is there an option I missed somewhere, or is Flash just this bad at
rendering sprites? Thank you for your reply!

I've tried to avoid overdrawing in flash, especially because I shouldn't HAVE
to in order to make it work.

What exactly do you mean by decimal coordinates? I'm assuming that would be
locations like 320.3 and 128.7, in which case, yes, I have avoided them :o)
All the GIFs are evenly placed at 2, 4, 6, 8, etc...
