hi all,

i know nothing about java script. i'm not a programer but i wanna learn it.
what would you recommend me? something for beginners. is there any good book
for dummies? i'd appreciate any advice.

Javascript for dummies? I found that one great; but then again that was
years ago. Anyway: how does this pertain to Flash?

i read this forum on daily basis. i asked because i know many of you are
familiar with java. i was hoped someone could recomend me a book.
to your question: no it has nothing to do with flash....

I recently puchased Javascript: the definitive guide , which is quite
comprehensive, but maybe too much not if you just start. Check O'Reilly
anyway, as most of their books are of good quality; you may also want to
check FriendsOfEd. I'm not sure whether they have any javascript books. And
of course: simply check Amazon for javascript books; the reviews by readers
already helped me deciding quite some times. Again: I once found Javascript
for Dummies great to learn the basics from.
