I would like to copy a certain image to my clipboard including a text like for example "myPicture.gif" + "myStrings" ... is this possible?

I'm in the same boat as you. Looking for a method to simply copy an area of
the screen to the clipboard for end users to paste for their own needs.
Unfortunately, I haven't found any solutions myself, though I'm still looking.
I DOUBT that the .setClipboard method would be useful. Even though it is
directly accessing the clipboard (which is what I need) it only passes a text
object. You would need to find some method of perhaps passing a string that
could be interpretted by either Flash or the OS to capture the desired area.
I'll let you know if I find something more concrete.
