flash actionscript: is there any way to preload embed fonts?
I have tried preloading an swf with embed fonts but without results

Not really , the linkage content has no physical place on timeline and will be loaded
prior to any frames of the movie.
You could however keep it in separate SWF and load it in level than proceed with the movie
loading.

by the way , one more way would be to place text field with these fonts off stage.
Include font outlines and keep it blank , just drop it off stage.
You won't need the linkage in library then.
