flash actionscript: Hi,

I have an instance of list component on Stage and i want different color of
text for each item. how is it possible.
i have tried this but doesn't work

wList.setPropertiesAt(0, {color:0xFF00FF});


this changes the color of all elements
wList.setStyle("color", "0x0000FF")
