flash actionscript:
I did, yet it does not show up when playing the swf
However when I imported the same avi into swf and then imported swf into a
movieclip, it started working.

Relevant question - to import a file into a movieclip, is it possible to
first import this file inside FLA file? If it is, will it enhance the
performance?

Is it possible to create a symbol of a MovieClip type and import into it an
AVI file?
Or alternatively can I import an AVI file into the Library and make is a
MovieClip?
