flash actionscript : controlling main movie from a loaded movie?

Say I have a movie loaded into Layer 10.... and I want a button in that loaded movie to tell the the root movie to go to the next frame....

There are no "layers" outside the developing environment of Flash, but _levels.
I guess you mean that and used loadMovieNum, then the main movie would be
_level0 from there (including the undercore).

sigh, im a moron.... im sitting here "why doesn't this work dang it!!

Sure enough .... its not _layer0 its _level0.... argggg
