flash actionscript : Listening for a movie clip to unload - how?

Hey folks,

I'm relatively new to actionscripting and right now I'm trying to build
modular flash piece where I have one master .swf file that loads in another
..swf, then when that one is finished it gets unloaded and a function in the
master .swf will load another one. I was planning on building a listening in
the master .swf to wait for the other .swf to become unloaded, but I cannot
seem to figure out how that would work (the class MovieClipLoader broadcasts
events for listeners, but doesn't seem to send out anything for unloadClip).
Is my logic sound? Am I going about this the right way, or is there an easier
way of doing this?

Any suggestions (or links to sites with tutorials and further information)
would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
