My hunch is, it was created with Swift 3D. Just a loop, as Flasher
Jimbo surmises. It's certainly possible to code something like that in
ActionScript, but probably not worth the effort for an intro, since it looks
organic and random enough.

to create moving squares like the ones continuously moving on the right on
this website...

I expect you're seeing a standard movie clip being played over and over. It's
probably got a lot of frames for very small movement to give the smooth feel.
It's going to require more graphic design skills than anything else, from what
I can tell.
