I am working on an ActionScriot project listed in the Macromedia ActionScriot
8.0 Bible and I do not understand this part

After drawing a circle, Set circle to export for ActionScript in the linkage
properties. Use Circle as the linkage identifier.

where is this done in the Flash interface??

thanks

the linkage tab just allows you to sort your library items by their linkage
ids, once the ids are defined. you won't use that often in your life.
normally, you'll leave your library items sorted by their names and only
occassionally will you want to resort them using one of their other
characteristics listed in the tabs.

what you should do is re-read my message above which has nothing to do with
the linkage tab. you should find your circle movieclip that's listed inside
your library panel and right click it etc.
