flash actionscript: Using Flash 8- I have a input box where a user enters an email address and then
clicks a button "send". How can I grab the value from the text input to pass
to a global variable?

Any suggestions would be great. It seems like an easy one but since I have it
jumping to another frame right after the user clicks the button, it seems to be
losing the value somehow.

make two layers and call them :

global veribals

and seconde one call movie

at layer global veribals put any var that will hold your value of text input
and on mive layer make frames , chek this one :
