flash actionscript : notify when browser close

HI,
Is there a way to detect from within a flash movie, that the user has closed the browser?
I want to send a variable to php page when a user is closing the browser.

javascript can catch the onUnload event so just use javascript in the html check out the posts here: http://www.thescripts.com/forum/thread431659.html
