Hey,

I'm having a problem that when I have a movieclip open over the stage of the
flash document, even though the buttons aren't visible, they can still be
clicked in the place where they should be over the movieclip (if that makes
sense!!).
I've tried countless things but is there any easy way to disable any buttons
that are not in the movie clip when it is on the screen?

If you are using the _alpha property to hide the buttons, then any
actionscript that references those buttons will still run. The hand
cursor will also still show.
