i want to use "MS Visual C++ .net Version 2003, Patch Level 7.1.3088,
..net Framework 1.1, Patch Level 1.1.4322".
The question is now where can i get this version? Is it included in a
bundle or can i also buy it separate?

There's no such term as "Patch Level" as applied to VC++. What you're
looking for is Visual Studio .NET 2003.

You might be able to find VS2003 in the secondary channel somewhere (check
ebay, for one thing), or you can buy VS2005 and then contact Microsoft Sales
to downgrade to the earlier version. If you buy VS2005 Professional (or
higher) with MSDN Premium, you can just download VS2003 from MSDN subscriber
downloads.

I can't easily verify the patch level of the C++ version itself right now,
but the rest of those details sounds like the C++ for .NET version that's
included with Visual Studio 2003. As this version of Visual Studio has
been superseded by Visual Studio 2005 by now, it may not be possible to
buy a separate license for it - but don't take my word for it, I'm not a
software reseller <g>. Anyway, if you have an MSDN subscription, you can
download that version from your MSDN account.
