Temporarily installing .NET Framework 1.1 -- dotnet framework

dotnet framework : Temporarily installing .NET Framework 1.1

I have an OS that has VS .NET 2002 installed, so it has .NET Framework 1.0.

Can I install .NET Framework 1.1, for several months, use a particular app
requiring 1.1, then uninstall 1.1 without affecting the current VS .NET 2002
installation?

There should be no problems, as VS .NET 2002 works with .NET Framework 1.0
and will not "see" v1.1. The two versions of the framework are separate
products and can coexist on the same PC. Installing/uninstalling v1.1 should
have no impact on VS .NET 2002.
