cannot get into hotmail -- dotnet framework

When I try to open my email after clicking on hotmail, I get a blank screen
and it says "done" at the bottom. This is the second day this has happened.
I recently did a spyware and virus scan and things look ok there. This is
the first time I have not been able to open my email. I have XP and a toshiba
sattelite laptop. Toshiba suggested a system restore. I tried to do a system
restore, but the system said it was incomplete and cannot be done for some
reason. Any ideas? What should I do? My other email (the only one working)
is goodnews1b@yahoo.com., for anyone who wants to send me a message. Thanks

You problem might be your apparent lack of having a clue about how to use
the internet.
