flash data integration : Pulling data into Flash MX 2004

Is it possible to pull data from a Access database into Flash Using Flash MX 2004 Professtional with ColdFusion 5?
Or is ColdFusion MX required?

You could probalby use CF5 to query the Access db, then generate an XML file for Flash to read, but if you want to use Flash Remoting, then you're probably going to have to upgrade.
