Hi everyone! I am fairly new to flash and am creating an application with a
login function. Am hoping to store the usernames, passwords etc. in a microsoft
access DB. I have been lookin into this and i am really confused with ASP(also
new to this!!!) Was wondering if anyone could help me or point me to a simple
tutorial (ones i've read are really confusing) All i need to do is simply
write and read from the DB... nothin fancy!! ALl help is greatly
appreciated!!! Cheers Aoife

Hey there ...

You will have to tweak the code to make it a custom fit, but take a look at
these links ...

ASP - Access (it's just a simple jump if you want to use SQL instead ... same
code, just different connection string):
http://www.webwizguide.com/asp/tutorials/updating_data_from_database.asp

From there, these may help with the ASP - Flash part ...

Hope this helps!

I too am trying to learn about data integration with Flash... I found this
article on the Macromedia DEVNET:
http://www.macromedia.com/devnet/mx/flash/articles/flashpro_asp.html

I just found it yesterday, and haven't had a chance to go through it, but I
hope it helps you.
