I have a ticker that i have created for my website and inserted it into a html
page and it works fine on the server. When i add it a PHP it doesn't work. I
have also saved the page as .ihtml

Is it possible for it to work like this?

You mean you have a Flash movie that is a ticker and it is now part of a PHP
script?

I would suspect if the PHP script is returning valid HTML tags and the
Object and Embed tag for the Flash movie it would be no different than an
HTML document.

As far as the extension .ihtml, that is the business of the web server
determining what to do with the file and it simply returns the http
protocols and contents to the web browser.
