flash data integration:

i have text loading from xml
my text needed to be masked, there for i convert the text field to movie clip
but
now i cant see the text from the external file.
my question is:
can i load text into text box converted to movie clip?

A TextField nested inside a MovieClip will work as follows

myMovieClip_mc.myTextField_txt.text = "Abc"
