flash data integration:
Hi,
I'm working on an offline application and I need an extension (or third party
software) for flash that allows me to embed a database. This extension must
have a function that synchronize two remote databases (the one that is embedded
and another on a server). If someone has an idea...
Thanks

I assume by embed a database that you want communicate to a database running
outside of client server such as running on the local machine.

I believe there are third party apps that allow Flash to communicate with a
local DB. Here are two I found with a quick web search:

Perl based
http://www.kessels.com/FlashDB/
Stuck in beta
http://www.inm.com/products/v12flash/

You will also need to consider how to handle a trusted sandbox for Flash 8
players to allow local and internet communications.
