flash data integration : Dynamic image looading

Hi All,

OK, so I've got some experience under my belt with a dynamically generated
list of images from a database on an asp page, but now a friend of mine is
wanting to integrate that functionality into a Flash site. I assume there is
too much to cover to just answer my query in this forum, but I'm wondering if
you all have any recommendations for good sites on data management in Flash.

I'm hearing that I should have my image paths in an XML file and pull from
that in order to use Flash, and so then perhaps I include dynamic elements in
the XML?

Is it clear I don't know where to start? =)

Thanks

Bill

Use the Flash XML class.

Here is an example I use in seminars that would work with both Jpegs or with
externally loaded Swfs. It may have a bit more in it that you are ready to
look at by see if it helps:

This example uses a static XML file. With Flash XML class you can load a
static XML file and then later decide on the server side tool to provide the
same XML on a dynamic basis.
