flash data integration: Is it possible to have an external xml document rotate through various
descriptions of images to sync up with a slide show? I have the text feeding in
to a Dynamic Text field. I would like to have the text rotation in a separate
xml document for others to update without knowing Flash.

For a larger project I have to centralize customer- and product information
into a differnt URL than the user is calling up. So I found a technote for
the impossible to become done:

I do not get the point of the shim.swf as it is loaded(loadMovie) into the
user´s URL, so the direct path to the database is not working, of course.

oops - sorry, I put my question into your thread...

concerning your slide show - I think you should mansge your pics in a
database, if you don´t do already. So you can direct comments on the pics to
the IDs and call it by an XML array. k.r. J o e

In that case I do remember a picture gallery component just based on XML
without database control - you can find it at www.flashcomponents.net , hope
