Excuse the crosspost but the actionscript people couldnt help. This has been
mindboggling: I have this Flash on a page http://seanjonesjazz.com/ that uses a
loadvars that acesses a php page to get data from a mysql db. The swf shows
dates and venues for concerts.As you can see,there are no errors and the
buttons(which you cant see) actually work.But the data doesnt show!!!!. The
flash is on one domain.The php is on anouther domain(same machine) and the data
is on the same machine. Here is the hard part.I can run the swf from my home
machine by itself and everything works,But embededed in the page it doesnt!!
One more thing.....the exact same Flash is on this page

Without knowing your code I think it must be a URL thing. We have made several
movies that get data from another URL, even from other servers, so that can't
be the thing. I assume you made a check in the movie to make sure that the
data is loaded before it continues... But some code would help. JW
