Hi I'm using flash remoting with .Net and SQL Server. I have successfully
connected to the remote sql server, my aspx page queries the data successfully
and passes it back to flash. Here is where I run in to an issue. I have a
Dataset that the results are sent to. I have bound the dataprovider Array to a
ComboBox. The ComboBox shows all the columns of each row. I would like to limit
it to just one column called name. Also all UI components and data components
are using MX 2004 AS2.0 Any help is appreicated, Thank you

might be what you are looking for. Specially from page 4 onwards.

Hi,

I am having EXACTLY the same problem with getting the ComboBox with just one
field from the Dataset. I've got the same setup of .Net, SQL and Web Services
feeding into a dataset from which I want to extract a particular column called
RackID to poulate the combobox.
Does anyone know how this is done, or did this thread originator (PeteB) ever
find an answer?

Thanks in advance for any help.
