Hi all.

Iam wanting to create a CD rom that contains a flash movie... This movie is to
display images and data about the images..
I currently have a non flash website that i use php and a mysql database to do
this but I now want it on a cd rom and using flash.

Can someone tell me or gove me advise on how i would do this.
The cd rom must be stand alone. and not require any software to be installed..

any ideas?

Well my advice would be to dump your database data into an XML file and then
pull it into your flash movie using the XMLConnector component. This doesn't
require you to have the client install any type of software. You can keep all
your images outside the flash file as well, but they will all have to be jpg,
since flash can only load in jpeg images or swf files into a movie.
