flash data integration:

hello friends,
i'm a flash application developer.so far i've used only AS2 and XML to
create applications.well now i want to move the next stage.i'm intrested in
creating RIA's.which is preferrable of the two give below (where to start from
and easier of the two):
flash + php + mysql
or
flash + flashcom
and tell me how tough it'll be to finish them.now i'm in a dilemma on which
way to proceed,please help.

you're comparing apples with pears here:

* flashcomm is aimed at apps which require streaming video and audio,
like multi user chat applications etc.

* using php/mysql with flash is the solution for situations where the
dynamic data will be primarily text-based (e.g. from a database)

If your aim is to create RIA's in the strict sense, you should take a
look at Flash Remoting, maybe
