I'd like to try doing cool stuff with an sdo datagraph in Flash + Java but
don't know whether it's even possible.

I'm just wondering if anybody out there has considered SDO as the data back
end for a Flash application, and what that might involve.

sounds interesting. don´t know what SDO exactly is, just googled for it, and
what i gather is that SDO backends deliver data in XML format, right?
so it would be ideal for using flash as a client, since flash can read and
parse xml data.
