flash data integration: I'm using XMLConnector, DataSet and list. Is there a way to show only unique
values from a certain XML node from my XML? I have a "<phase>" node that I'd
like only the unique names to show in the list. Is this something I can do
from the DataSet?

I'm still looking for this answer. Is this something I can do from the
Component Inspector > formatter > format options? Is there any good
documentation on the Component Inspector and all the options in the formatter?

You'dd might want to take a look at the following tutorial:

It points out quite well how to extract node information and attributes using
the formatter options in the Component inspectors Binding tab. I haven't been
that successful in rebuilding this project with ActionScript though.
